A stylish and neatly detailed extension and renovation project in Edinburgh, photographed for the design team led by Zone Architects. Despite its busy urban setting, the new addition creates a calm and peaceful space for both relaxing and entertaining with the kitchen placed centrally between the new dining and living areas. Large openings bring light into the space and create a connection with the landscaped garden. Like two sides of a coin, front and rear elevations may hold a very different story yet need to work together as a whole; the extension a complement to the existing Georgian townhouse.
