Extension and home remodelling project by Neil Middleton Architects completed in 2023. It’s always interesting to step inside completed homes – and see how transformations to a property have improved living space and provision for a family to use their home in a better way. This project extended and opened up a larger, open living and dining space, in a traditional semi-detached property, as well as improving bedroom and bathroom layouts.
With this project the interior was quite straight forward to photograph with plenty of light, and a revisit was made for an additional angle, requested to match a design drawing. Externally, a railway line runs adjacent to the rear boundary, and there was limited access to a good view of the property; a twilight view helping to focus attention on the new extension!
